Strong Girls take to the water!
Nantucket SUP Yoga is thrilled to be combining two loves: mentoring Nantucket’s young women and introducing them to the art of Paddle Yoga!
These girls empowerment paddle fitness class are designed specifically for pre-adolescent and adolescent girls ages 9-16. Classes will include basic paddle skills and explore many yoga poses which build strength and flexibility. The girls will solidify trust within themselves and a connection to one another, as well as an appreciation of our natural surroundings and the beauty of Nantucket’s fluid ecosystem. The girls will work on building self-esteem through working challenging poses and peacefulness through guided relaxation and meditation.
