Learn to paddle board – the right way…
Are you are a first time paddler?
If so, private paddle board instruction is the way to go. Learn the basic techniques you’ll need to make paddle boarding a total body workout. Learn how to stand properly on the board, how fit your paddle to your body, mount and dismount, and cultivate efficiency in your paddle stroke.
During our private or semi-private sessions we will introduce you to the fundamentals of SUP in a fun and safe environment. PaddleFit basics will help you build the foundation for your future paddling endeavors. You will need to be comfortable in the water as well as be able to swim. You do not need to have prior paddling experience for this session. During our time together we will cover getting on and off your board, getting back onto your board from the water, transitioning to your feet from your knees, stance, paddle grip, switching sides while paddling, the reverse turn/brake turn and the sweep turn. Private PaddleFit basics is the place to start to learn technique and efficiency.
